Terms of Service
Effective date: 2026-08-14 · StateDrive LLC, Franklin, Tennessee, USA
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of statedrive.net (the "Site"), operated by StateDrive LLC ("StateDrive," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Engagements are separate. Consulting and managed-security services are provided exclusively under a separately executed written agreement (such as a master services agreement, statement of work, or government contract). Nothing on this Site is an offer of services, a warranty of outcomes, or professional advice, and no client relationship is formed by using the Site or contacting us.
1. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or related systems except as expressly authorized under our responsible disclosure policy; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by imposing an unreasonable load; (d) submit false, deceptive, or fraudulent inquiries; (e) scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Site at scale, including for training machine-learning models, without our written permission; or (f) misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
2. Security research
Good-faith security research within the scope of our responsible disclosure policy is authorized and welcome, and is subject to the safe-harbor terms stated there. Any testing outside that scope — including against our clients' environments — is strictly prohibited.
3. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by StateDrive LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. "StateDrive," the StateDrive wordmark, and the StateDrive shield mark are trademarks of StateDrive LLC. You may view and share links to the Site; you may not republish, reproduce at scale, or create derivative works from Site content without written permission. Third-party product names appearing on the Site are trademarks of their respective owners, referenced solely to describe deployment coverage, and imply no affiliation or endorsement.
4. Submissions
Information you submit through the contact form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or sensitive technical details (credentials, vulnerability specifics about your environment, regulated data) through the form; we will establish a secure channel after first contact.
5. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SITE CONTENT IS GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR SERVICES AND IS NOT SECURITY, LEGAL, OR COMPLIANCE ADVICE FOR ANY SPECIFIC SITUATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, StateDrive LLC AND ITS PRINCIPALS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, AND DO NOT APPLY TO SERVICES DELIVERED UNDER A SEPARATE WRITTEN AGREEMENT, WHICH CONTAINS ITS OWN TERMS.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StateDrive LLC from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites (for example, standards bodies or verification services). We are not responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Changes
We may update the Site and these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, with the effective date updated above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site is the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
